Hear ye! Hear Ye! My new podcast is finally out! There are 3 episodes out now (and a small teaser) with more coming soon.
The idea behind the podcast came to me after I conducted some rather underwhelming workshops on communication with clients during one of the Netguru retreats for designers. I figured there must be a better way to do it – a way that’s entertaining and easily digestible. The initial batch of episodes will be devoted to communication, but I will go beyond that topic once it’s exhausted.
The plan is to tell you about my approach to first contact with new or potential clients, tell you about communication in projects, selling your ideas, dealing with conflicts and providing some general tips and tricks to make that communication less daunting. I’m looking at it from a very general perspective, so some of the tips are not specific to a specific approach (freelance or agency), but I think it’s important to have a broad view of the subject.
Also, while the podcast is from a designer’s perspective and mainly for people of my own trade, most of what I’m talking about would work well for developers, marketing specialists or everyone else who has direct contact with clients.
So I invite you to check out the teaser below and the rest of the episodes on Youtube. I’ll be also uploading the podcast to other services soon, so check out the blog or follow me on Twitter to get updates on that and on new episodes.
